Can I book online?

Not at this stage. All bookings must be made in-store or through our contact form.

Can I buy a suit?

No. Mr Suit Hire: that’s our name, that’s our game!

Can I sell my suit to Mr Suit Hire?

No. In order to maintain high quality and standards, all our suits are carefully selected in order to ensure the perfect fit, style, and overall look.

Do you cater for group bookings?

Absolutely, please get in contact through our contact form.

Are your suits slim fit?

The majority of our suits are slim fit, however we have many different styles that fit all shapes and sizes.

What is your maximum suit size?

Our maximum suit size is 46 waist

Do you have boys suits?

Yes, we have 5 different styles for the little ones. Sizing typically fits ages 3-12. Please view our range online.

I need to cancel my booking, is there a cancellation fee?

With any cancellations after a fitting has been arranged and payment made in full, we offer  a 25% cancellation fee which will be charged of the total hire invoice and the balance will be refunded via the same method paid.

Do you offer sponsorships with social influencers?

What do I need to bring when I would like to hire a suit?

With all bookings Mr Suit Hire may require a copy of a SA ID document, SA Driver’s license, or a Passport. Proof of a address may be required for larger bookings.

When do I pay for my hiring?

All invoices must be settled before hiring. 100% payment required (cash or card accepted in-store).

What is the general process when hiring a suit?

We recommend that all customers visit any of our branches for a fitting a few days before your event/function, this will allow time for alterations or amendments if necessary. You can then plan your collection and return date with our in-store staff.

Can I make a fitting booking?

Unfortunately not, although we don’t have fixed booking times Mr Suit Hire works on a first come first serve basis, and will do our very best to serve each customer swiftly. You are a welcome to send us a message on social media or through our website advising of dates and times so our team can expect you, however we cannot guarantee immediate assistance

Do I need to know my measurements?

Not at all, that’s what we are for! Simply arrive at our branch and a Mr Suit Hire staff member will take it from there.

Can I hire a jacket or trouser only?

Yes, of course you can! It’s a colourful world out there and we won’t force you to match. Pricing will vary depending on which style you choose; please enquire in-store.

When should I return the suit?

Mr Suit Hire’s property (merchandise) must be returned within 3 days after collection.  We may reserve the right to charge a penalty fee of R150 per day for any late returns. Please contact the store to arrange an extended return date or longer rental period (this cannot be guaranteed).

Can I return my suit to any of your branches?

This is one of many bonuses of Mr Suit Hire, with 10 branches covering the Western Cape, suits can be returned to your nearest branch. All we ask, is that you arrange this in advance with the branch when hiring.

What happens if I damage the suit?

These things happen and its not the end of the world, however if any of Mr Suit Hires clothing/suits/merchandise is returned damaged, beyond repair or lost, the client will be charged the full retail value price of the suit hired.

If I return my suit earlier, can I get a discount?

Unfortunately not, regardless of the hiring duration, all suits are washed and steam cleaned.
